Lucille "Lou" Chaisson, 68, a native and resident of Houma, died at 6:48 a.m. Sunday, July 17, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in New Hope Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Chris and Stuart Chaisson; three daughters, Connie Chauvin and husband, Andy, Rebecca Chaisson, Rachel Guzman and husband, Tommy; one brother, Walter Thibodaux; four sisters, Eloise Dubois, Shirley Theriot, Gail Legendre and Barbara Breaux; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester J. Chaisson; her parents, Levi and Lillian Thibodaux; two brothers, Levy "Sonny" Thibodaux and Lloyd Thibodaux; and one sister, Joyce Marcel.
She was a member of First Baptist.
