Lucia "Lucy" Danos Anselmi

Lucia “Lucy” Geralda Danos Anselmi, 68, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was a native and resident of Galliano, LA. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at the House of Prayer Church in Larose on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, LA.

Lucia is survived by her husband, Loube “Pookie” Anthony Anselmi; sons, Uriah A. Lasseigne and wife, Becky; daughter, Jazzi L. Besh and husband, Peymon; stepsons, Brady Anselmi and wife, Jennifer, and Cody Anselmi and wife, Telina; brother-in-law, James “Jim” Shea; grandchildren, Bobby Wescovich and wife, Rhea, Logan Lasseigne, Silas Besh, Samson Besh, Casen Anselmi, and Flynn Anselmi; and great-grandchildren, Brycin, Westin, and Eastin Wescovich.

Lucia was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Paul Danos and Rose Mary Lefort Danos; sister, Sharon Shea; and granddaughter, Crystal Doucet.
