Lubin Raymond Sr., 92, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Larry Raymond and wife, Joan, and Paul Raymond and wife, Kathleen; three daughters, Linda Chambers, Norene Montez and husband, Jim, and Kathleen Raymond; four sisters, Estelle Williams, Flo Cheramie, Theresa Duet and Alice Ledet; and 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Cheramie Raymond; his parents, Leonce and Aurora Plaisance Raymond; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Raymond; and one sister, Vivian Schouest.
He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
