Luana Blasio

Luana Rose Spiess Blasio, 68, a native of New Orleans and resident of Schriever, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, Feb. 12, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in New Hope Cemetery.She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Anthony Joseph Blasio, of Schriever; children, Wanda Ann Bement and husband, Robert, of Gray, Leslie Ann Keene and husband, Kevin, of Schriever, Toni Marie Rogers and husband, Tommy, of Houma, Dirk Joseph Blasio and wife, Rebecca, of Mandeville, Douglas Joseph Blasio, of Thibodaux, Benjamin Michael Blasio, of Thibodaux, and Lucas Anthony Blasio and wife, Miriam, of Farmers Branch, Texas; sister, Laura Peterson, of Gray; grandchildren, Ashley, Angel, Rachael, Rebekah, Sophia, Amelia, Chelsea, Jonathan and Ivan; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, William Percy Spiess and Estelle Rose Cochran Spiess, of New Orleans; sister, Linda Pipitone, of Harahan; and brother-in-law, Raymond Peterson, of Gray.Luana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
