Lovell J. Boudreaux, 94, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, died Friday, February 17, 2023 at St. Ann/Ochsner Hospital in Raceland.
Family and friends are invited to Visitation on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland from 5:00PM-9:00PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at St. Hilary Poitiers Catholic Church from 9:00AM -11:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM, with Military Honors beginning at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland.
Lovell was survived by his Caregivers and Extended Family- Angelle and Ken Kraemer, and their children, Kody (Kyra), Kasey (Mary-Claire), and Kylie Kraemer; and grandchildren, Kamden Dupre, Kora Kraemer, and John Michael Kraemer; 2 Sons, Glenn and Danny Boudreaux; 1 Daughter, Deborah B. Rodrigue; Brothers, Cullen, Dale, Ferrel, and Herbert Boudreaux; and Sister, Wanda House; 10 Grandchildren; 24 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mabel Boudreaux, and second wife, Audrey Boudreaux; Companion, Judy Kraemer; Parents, Inez and Dennis Boudreaux, Sr.; Brother, Dennis Boudreaux, Jr.; Sisters, and Velma Breaux and Lenora LeBouef.
Lovell was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 349. Lovell was a Past Grand Marshall and a Member of the Grand Marshall Club. He was also a member of Woodmen of the World and the VFW. Lovell was a carpenter by trade.
Lovell loved God and was a member of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church. He was a member of The Family Rosary Group.
