Louise Mae Breaux Landry, 93, a native of Lockport and a resident of Raceland, died at 3:33 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time today at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews. Mass will be at 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
She is survived by two sons, Alvin Landry and wife, Sylvia, Leonard Landry and wife, Katie; one brother, Gene Breaux; one sister, Vivian Hebert; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Landry; her parents, Gillis Breaux Sr. and Agunicia Gros Breaux; one infant daughter, Bernice Landry; one daughter-in-law, Diane Rhinehart Landry; three brothers, Gillis Breaux Jr., Gordon Breaux and Guy "Pat" Breaux; and one sister, Ophelia Moody.
She was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church.
She was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
