Louis Joseph Guidry Jr.

Louis Joseph Guidry, Jr., 64, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, June 3, 2021 and from 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday at St. Hilary Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl R. Guidry; sons, Jason Guidry (Shellie), Eric Guidry (Margo) and Byron Guidry (Rhesa); daughter, Christal Boudreaux; brothers, Frank Oncale, Clarence Alonzo, Albert “Joe” Guidry, Brian Pierce; sisters, Theresa Rothman, Cookie Brace and Susan Oncale; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Guidry Sr. and Ruby B. Guidry; foster parents, Alfred and Katherine Oncale; brothers, Mark Oncale, John Alonzo, Barry Breaux, Raymond Oncale and sisters, May Ann Guidry, Judy Guidry, Gayle Oncale, Florence Alonzo and Kathleen Pitre.
He was employed by Bollinger Shipyard as an EMT. He was an avid sponsor for the Central Lafourche Trojan Lancer Band.
