Louis Leo Eschette, JR.

Louis Eschette, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandpaw, great grandpaw and friend passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, in Larose, on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 9:30 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Louis is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Joyce D. Eschette; children, Al Boudreaux (Katie), Mark Boudreaux (Tanya), Odelia Boudreaux (Jenny), Paula Santiny (Gino), Stacey Boudreaux Pizani (Racheal), Rachel Whitlock (Kirk), Mellissa Melancon (Troy), Alison Howell (Kevin), grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Eschette, Sr.; mother, Florence Eschette; father-in-law, Freddie Doucet; mother-in-law, Lena Doucet; daughter, Jennifer Callais and grandchildren, Ryan and Justin Boudreaux and baby girl Santiny.

He lived a life filled with love for his family. His favorite past times were mowing all the neighbors’ yards, visiting friends, babysitting grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and going to the camp in Woodville with his dear friends.
