Louis J. Bourgeois

Louis J. Bourgeois, 92, a native of Valentine and resident of Mathews and Lockport passed away on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose from 9:30 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Louis is survived by his brother: John Bourgeois; sister: Gloria Bourgeois Hebert; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Mr. Bourgeois was preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Edwina Callahan Bourgeois; brother: Alvin Bourgeois; and sisters: Rose Breaux and Dolores Hebert.

Even though Louis was born deaf, he made it his mission to connect with people and find a way to put a smile on everyone's face he came into contact with. He was a magician, storyteller, 3 stooges impersonator, and quite the ladie's man. He will be missed but all his family and friends.
