Louanna H. Gaudet, 77, a native of Lockport and resident of Raceland, died on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Rene Gaudet; daughter, Michelle G. Pippen; brother, Malcolm Hebert; sisters, Gordon Ann Falgout and husband, Leonard, and Camellia Vessels and husband Richard; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin P. "Fuzz" Gaudet; special friend and caretaker, Wilson Danos; parents, Edmond and Francis Hebert; and brother, Warren Hebert.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
