Lorraine Keller passed away peacefully on April 20, 2017, at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her first husband Shirley (Black) Tassin, second husband Richard J. (Dick) Keller, parents Ambrose Champagne and Bertha Boudreaux, and sister Bertha ("B") Champagne Firmin. She is survived by her brother Rene' A. Champagne (Mae) and sister Yvonne Champagne McCord, and step-children William C. Keller, Dr. Richard A. Keller (Judy), Mary K. Clulee (Neal), and Thirza Jane K. Laiche. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, step-grand children, and great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her loving care givers, Diane North, Beryl Trepina, Pat Champagne, and Betty Muller. Lorraine retired from Monsanto Company where she was employed for 32 years. Before working at Monsanto, she worked for the Veterans Administration in New Orleans, LA. She was a 1939 graduate of St. Stephens Catholic School, New Orleans, LA. Lorraine was a volunteer of St. Charles Parish Hospital Auxiliary for 28 years. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 265 Angus Drive, Luling, LA, on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until funeral mass at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling, LA.
