Loriska Aupied

Loriska "Lou" D. Aupied, 90, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Aurestile "Tim" Aupied; son, Charles Aupied and wife, Vicki, and daughter Sybil A. Daigrepont and husband, Johnnie; grandchildren, Timmy Aupied and wife, Jaci, Jason Aupied and wife, Chantel, Julie Fanguy and husband, James, Johnnie Daigrepont Jr. and wife, Vickie, Nathan Daigrepont and wife, Rebecca, Valerie Sepulvado and husband, Keith, and Melanie Daigrepont and companion, Chad Lefort, great-grandchildren, Rachel, Christopher, William, Alayna, Matthew Jr., Lauren and companion, Jeremy Barfield, Lyndsey and companion, Dylan Chiasson, Taylor, Rylea, Noah, and Jaison; step-great-grandchildren, Charlie and Cameron; and great-great-grandchildren, Marlee and Kayleigh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Celestine and Lezima T. Doucet; brothers Joseph, Etienne, Adam, Davis, Arcelone, Deman, Livingston and Norman Doucet; sisters, Azore Baudoin, Evella Batts and Dora Olivares; and grandchild, Matthew Daigrepont Sr.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
