Lorida "Blondie" C. Auseve, 88, a native and resident of Galliano passed away July 23, 2015. Visitation will take place at Falgout Funeral Homes of Galliano on Friday July 24 from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and on Saturday July 25 from 8:00 am till 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am Saturday July 25, 2015 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow with burial following in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lorida is survived by her sons Gilbert Auseve Jr. (Mary) and Darren Anselmi (Laura), granddaughters Charlene Folse, Marlene Nelson, Merissa Anselmi, and Ariel Anselmi, 4 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
Mrs. Auseve was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert J. Auseve Sr., parents Apolinaire and Lucille C. Champagne, sons Norbert Anselmi and Donald D. Anselmi, and her brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Blondie enjoyed going to the casinos, cooking and fishing with her sons and husband. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilary Post 259 and the VFW Auxiliary
