Loretta Folse Lee, 72, a native of Golden Meadow, resident of Houma, and former resident of Galliano, passed away at 9:51 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in Houma.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Patterson L. Lee; daughters, Wanda Esponge and Tiffany Lee; grandson, Blake A. Esponge and wife, Lacey; mother, Juanita P. Folse; niece, Laura Anselmi; and nephew, Jason Robichaux.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thompson Folse; son-in-law, Chase Esponge; and sister, Elaine Folse Robichaux.
She was a member of the Teachers Retirement Association and taught for 30 years at Golden Meadow Lower Elementary School. She was a NSU graduate and loved traveling, shopping, gardening, sewing and going to the movies.
