Lois Marie Pitre, 71, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 12:16 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano.
She is survived by her son, Kurt Crosby and wife, Susan; one daughter, Paddy Crosby; one brother, Larry Pitre; three sisters, Joyce Trosclair, Dolores Orgeron and Rose Terrebonne; and four grandchildren, Tara Cheramie, Allison Crosby, Lauren Guidry and Aaron Guidry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harris and Russin Charpentier Pitre; one brother, Roy Pitre; and one sister, Juliet Chiasson.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
