Lindsey Joseph Gaspard Sr., a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, age 82.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and at Christian Fellowship Church in Larose on Friday, July 3 from 9:30 until 10:30 am with a funeral service at the church beginning at 10:30 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
Lindsey is survived by his wife, Glenda Gammel Gaspard; sons, Garry Gaspard (Rebecca), Warren Gaspard (Kathy), Lindsey Gaspard, Jr. (Yvonne), Allen Gaspard; daughters, Carolyn Gaspard Dorroh, Jody Gaspard, Mandee Gaspard; brothers, Nolan Gaspard, Roland Gaspard, Timmy Gaspard, Norrison Gaspard, Dolton Gaspard, Jr. and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dolton Gaspard, Sr. and Eleanora Gisclair Gaspard; daughter, Tammy Gaspard Trosclair; brothers, Livingston Gaspard and Larry Gaspard; sisters, Dorothy Dubois and Katherine Gaspard and wife, Sally Terrebonne Gaspard.
Lindsey is an ordained Minister and founding pastor of Christian Fellowship Church in Larose. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations accepted for funeral services.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is entrusted with arrangements.
