Lindsey Joseph "T-Lin" Thibodeaux, 85, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM until service time on Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. A funeral mass will be held at 12 PM on Monday at the church with burial to follow in the church mausoleum.
He is survived by his 2 sons, Ivy Jude Thibodeaux (Ruth) and Keith Paul Thibodeaux (Sonny); brothers, Wilbert Thibodeaux (Mary) and Jimmy Thibodeaux (Doris); sister, Ismae "Mae Mae" Lirette; son-in-law, Mike Gautreaux; 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Mae Thibodeaux; daughter, Helena T. Gautreaux; parents, Arthur Thibodeaux Sr. and Ella Pellegrin Thibodeaux; brothers, Arthur Thibodeaux Jr. (Beatrice) and Elton "T-Yet" Thibodeaux (Margie); sisters, Winona Lirette (Conrad), Val Collins (Freddie), and Blanche Theriot (J.D.); and brother-in-law, Druis Lirette.
He was a cook for Texaco, a carpenter, and he retired as a custodian for St. Joseph Catholic Church.
