Linda Eve Mayet Loupe, a native and resident of Lockport, passed away on Friday, July 6th at the age of 76.
Visitation will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 17th from 9:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the church starting at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Linda is survived by her son, Maurice A. Loupe Jr. (Tammy); beloved niece, Sandy Guidry (Spunky); great nephews, Kade and Reece Guidry to which they called her “Nanny Granny”; sisters, Janiece Sims (Russ), Dona Breaux (Wayne), Guthrie Matherne (Blake) and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice A. Loupe; parents, B.G. and Vivian LeBlanc Mayet and her fur grandbaby, Clarice.
Linda was a lifetime member of the Louisiana Cattlemen’s Association and the LVFC-Lafourche Volunteer Family Communication.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Lafourche parish library in her name.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
