Linda F. Galley Billiot, 94, a native and resident of Montegut, died at 7:05 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by seven sons, Eugene and wife, Mary, Darel and wife, Rose, Leroy and companion, Evelyn, Harold and wife, Vickie, Steve and wife, Connie, Charles and wife, Lena, and Leroy Jr. and wife, Robin Billiot; four daughters, Jenerie Prochaska, Verda Landry, Daisy Culberton and friend, Jimmy, and Elsie Prosperie and husband, Claude; two sisters, Betty Dela Oliva and Dorothy Howard; and 35 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Billiot; parents, Homer and Jean Rodrigue Galley; son, Aubry Billiot; great-granddaughter, Alexandra Blaisdell; brothers, Harry, Claude, Norris, Peter, and Norman Galley; and sisters, Irene Molinere and Rita Hebert.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are preferred for funeral expenses.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
