Lincoln James Lirette, 76, a native and resident of Houma, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Pellegrin Lirette; one son, Lyle Lirette and wife, Stacey; one daughter, Shanna L. Himel and husband, Mike; and two grandchildren, Danae and Miranda Himel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Bessie Lambert Lirette; one son, Dwight Lirette; one grandson, Tyler Lirette; four brothers, Norris, Reuben, Clifton, and Harold Lirette; and one sister, Doris Johnson.
He was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church are preferred.
