Lily Ann Jambon, born of March 11, 1938 to Louis and Isaure Kiff Lapeyrouse, native of Little Caillou, resident of Golden Meadow, Galliano and recently, Cut Off, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the age of 85.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Galliano, from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Lily is survived by her children, Josh Jambon (Michelle); Jessica Lepine (Jimmy), Emma Cheramie (Robert) and Eddie Gonzales; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Dreus Lapeyrouse and sister, Norma Burkhardt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jambon; son, Jacob Jambon; daughter-in-law, Kim Mary; parents, Louis and Isaure Kiff Lapeyrouse; brother, Louis Lapeyrouse Jr. and sisters, Juanita Adams and Kathleen Gardemal.
She always tried to put God first in her life and was a devout Catholic. She spent over 30 years in Girl Scouting and liked camping out and the outdoors. She loved to sew; her machines were never closed. Her grandkids and great grandkids were her delight.
No flowers preferred, Masses at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
