Lillie Mae Lefort Duet

Pearly gates of heaven has opened to a new Angel, Lillie Mae Lefort Duet, 88, a native of Cut Off, LA and a resident of Galliano on Friday, June 4, 2021.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021, from 9:00 until 11: 00 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano, LA. A mass will be celebrated at 11:00.
She is survived by her daughters, Vanessa Duet and Rebecca (Earl) Duet; grandchildren, Vincent (Regina) Hebert, Jacques Angelette, Blayne (Addie) White, Jordan Duet; 20 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren;. Brothers, Clifton and Rafton Lefort; Sisters, Clotile Darbonne and Virgues Sevin and sister-in-law, Norma Duet Rhodes.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Junice Joseph Duet: parents Dewey and Nola Arceneaux Lefort; brothers Willis and Edwin Lefort; sisters, Genevieve Lefort Adams and Elmire Lefort Guidroz; sister-in-law, Thelma Duet Spahr.
She was a member of the St Joseph Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting. Her love for family and others will never be forgotten. Her faithfulness to her lord and savior was infinite.
A burial service will be held at a later date.
