Lillie Mae Peyregne Boyer

Lillie Mae Peyregne Boyer passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Luke Louis Boyer. She is survived by her children: Lynell Sherrill (Joe), Lowell (Karen) and Lyle; grandchildren: Rebecca (Paul), Christopher, Mindy (Nathan), Kyna (Jarrad), Lacy (Mark), Peter (Valerie), Brian (Meagan), Evan and Sean; 13 great grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her parents: Paul C. and Jane D. Peyregne; sisters, Dorothy, Dora, Ruth, Marilyn, Jeanne, Janella and her brother, Noble. She was a native of Paradis, however lived in Des Allemands during earlier years. Lillie Mae was devoted to her family and took great joy in crafting gifts for family and friends. She had a passion for sewing, crocheting, decorating and cooking – especially her famous peanut butter fudge.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
