Lillian Leblanc Dufrene, 93, a native of Valentine and resident of Lockport passed away Dec. 29, 2012. Visitation will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport and from 9 a.m. unitl service time Wednesday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, with Mass beginning at 11 a.m. and burial following in Holy Savior Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Helen D. Chiasson, Audrey D. Cheramie and husband, Jasper, and Fernand Dufrene Jr. and wife, Mary Ann; daughter-in-law, Amanda Dufrene; sister, Lena Gautreaux; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fernand Joseph Dufrene Sr.; her parents, Henry Leblanc Sr. and Elmire Boudreaux Leblanc; son Lorry Dufrene; son-in-law, Robert Chiasson; brothers, Henry, Norman Joseph, and Richard Leblanc; sisters, Leah Chiasson, Lilly Orgeron, Sidonia Breaux, and Rita Leblanc; and two grandchildren.
