Lillian Badeaux Breaux born on January 14, 1944, gained her angel wings on June 25, 2024 at the age of 80. She was a lifelong resident of Bayou Gauche.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA and from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche, LA.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 62 years, John R. Breaux; children, Lori Breaux (Rodney Duhon), Wade Breaux (Lynn), Wayne Breaux (Denise); grandchildren, Candace Breaux, Christian Breaux and Trent Breaux; great granddaughter, Jolie’ Dupre; sister, Nancy Badeaux; brothers, Henry Badeaux, James Badeaux (Linda) and Dennis Badeaux (Bonnie) and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death and waiting to greet her at Heaven’s door is her beautiful granddaughter, Abigayl Katharyn Breaux. Also preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Willie Mae Badeaux; sister, Virginia Fonseca (Eddie) brothers, Norbert Badeaux (Gilda) and Leroy Badeaux.
Lillian also known as Lily, Lily Pad, Me-Maw and Maw-Maw was a warrior who fought harder than anyone we’ve known. She was loved by everyone for being the most loving, kind-hearted soul, always putting all others before herself. She will be missed by her friends and family and has left a big hole in our hearts! Fly high sweet lady!
