Levia D. Meyer, 87, a native of Bayou Gauche and a resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, December 7, 2018 at First Assembly of God Church, Des Allemands, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 am Friday with burial to follow in Des Allemands Mennonite Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Meyer, Sr.; sons, Alvin Meyer, Jr. (Christine), Terry Meyer (Margaret); daughter, Susan Hobby (Robert); brothers, Hemes and Wilbur Dufrene; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Dufrene; mother and step father, Leonise and Sam Matherne; brother, Roy Dufrene and sister, Edna Matherne.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
