Laszlo Nemes, Jr.

Laszlo Nemes, Jr., 58, a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at St. Cletus Catholic Church, Gretna, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm with burial to follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, LA.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Nemes; daughter, Colleen Nemes; step daughter, Holly Robichaux; granddaughter, Adeline Robichaux; father and step mother, Laszlo Nemes, Sr. and Onoria Nemes; brother, Joseph Nemes and sister Ilona “Trudy” Badeaux.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Nemes.

Laszlo loved the Blue Angels, fishing and people. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Known as Grumpy to his granddaughter who was his life and the apple of his eye.
