Leroy Joseph Falgout Sr. 79, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy G. Falgout; sons, Blake Richoux and wife, Karissa, L.J. Falgout Jr. and wife, Donna, Victor Falgout and wife, Kasie, Bryant Guidry and wife, Stephanie, Quincie Falgout and Brentley Falgout; daughters, Connie Curole and husband, Eric, Sharon Keller and husband, George and Nita Falgout; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Nita Sandras Falgout; sisters, Margaret Falgout and Mabel Falgout Guidry; two children; one nephew; and two grandsons, Jonathan and Joshua Richoux.
He was an employee of Allied Shipyard in Larose and was a veteran of the U.S, Navy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
