Leroy J. "Boy" Chiasson, 81, a native of Mathews and resident of Raceland passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie D. "Gean" Chiasson; son, Jason Chiasson and wife Kieu Han; brother, Freddie J. Chiasson; sisters, Alice Mae C. Boudreaux, Elizabeth Ann C. Bourgeois, Velma Marie C. Ford; grandchildren, Ly Ly Chiasson, Amy Chiasson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Easman and Marie Chiasson; son, Easman Chiasson; brother, Jessie J. Chiasson.
