Leona Dufrene Robichaux, a native and resident of Raceland passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at the age of 85.
Leona is survived by her husband of 62 years, Albert A. Robichaux; children, James "Jimbo" Robichaux, Janice Robichaux Neideffer (James), Jason Robichaux (Mary); brother, Leon Dufrene (Priscilla); grandchildren, Amanda Cenac, Natalie Robichaux, Jacob Fonseca, Macy Robichaux, Dexter Robichaux; great-grandchildren, Hailey Fonseca, Hanna Fonseca and William Cenac.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn & Cecil Dufrene; son, John Robichaux; brother, L.J. Dufrene; sister, Lois Dufrene and sister-in-law; Gloria Dufrene.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the church with burial to follow Mass in the church cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Notre Dame Hospice medical team, Lafourche Council on Aging, Deacon Brent Bourgeois and Fr. P.J. Madden.
