Leona Comardelle Dufrene, 87, a native of Comardelle Village and a resident of Bayou Gauche, LA, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Life Fellowship Church, Bayou Gauche, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Riley Dufrene (Twyla) and Darrel Dufrene (Starr); son-in-law, Ellis Robeau, Jr.; sister, Enola Matherne Simon; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Dufrene; daughter, Jennie Robeau; parents, Antoine and Elvira Adams Comardelle; brothers, Edmond, Jimmie and Jesse Comardelle and 1 grandchild.
Leona enjoyed reading her Bible, poetry and gardening.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
