Leon "Mike" Michael Thibodeaux

Leon “Mike” Michael Thibodeaux, 77, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church (Gathering Center) in Houma on Friday, June 16, 2023, beginning at 8:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.

Mike is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruth Ellen Coulon Thibodeaux; son, Sean Michael Thibodeaux and wife, Melissa; daughter, Frankie Thibodeaux Lafleur and husband, James; sister, Susan Grace and husband, Ferrell; grandchildren, Isabella and Jolie Lafleur, and Gavin Thibodeaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Joseph and Eula Marie Callahan Thibodeaux; sisters, Joanne Eschete, and Andre’ Richard.

Mike honorably served his country in the US Marine Corps Reserve. He worked for Mobil Oil for 26 years. He enjoyed going to the casino and Mardi Gras, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid Saints and LSU fan. Mike was a member of the Marine Corps League Houma -Terrebonne and the Krewe of Hercules for several years.
