Leon "Chute" Hutchinson, 85, a native and resident of Bourg, died Saturday, March 9, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Hutchinson and Bruce (Tanya) Hutchinson; sisters, Mae LeCompte and Ponnie Pitre; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Belle Hebert Hutchinson; parents, Lindsey and Elodie Henry Hutchinson; brothers, Bruce, Reggie, Louis, and Roy Hutchinson; and sisters, Audry Martin, Vergie Prosperie, and Elodie Hutchinson.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
