Leo M. Matranga, born June 18, 1960 died June 23, 2013, at the age of 53. Leo left this Earth after a long hard fight with Colon Cancer. He Won! He now gets to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Parlor on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Penny F. Matranga; his loving sons, Jeb Matranga and wife Necee, Carley Matranga and very special friend Raquel Dufrene; his loving miniature dachshund, Teeny (whom will miss him very much! She loved her Daddy); his father, John "Jay" Matranga; brothers, Corey Matranga, Peter Matranga, Mark Matranga; sister, Colette Matranga; half sisters, Danina Doane, Angelle Matranga, Natasha Matranga, Janet Matranga.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine F. Matranga; maternal grandparents, Ophelia and Louis Foret; Paternal grandparents, John and Nicoline Matranga.
In lieu of flowers, please make in kind donations to Masses in Leo's honor or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Leo loved to hunt and fish.
Leo was the owner of C'est Cajun Catering.
