Leander “LJ” Gaspard, Jr., 80, a native and resident of Galliano, born, September 6, 1941, died October 28, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 9 am until service time. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
LJ is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lou Ann Cheramie Gaspard; son, Troy Gaspard (Robin); daughters, Kim Guidry (Bryan), Carrie Castloo (Ken); grandchildren, Ashley, Beau, Bryce, Eric, Whitney, Lauren, Emily; great grandchildren, Louie, Bonnie and Charlie; brother, Jeffery Gaspard (Hazel); sister, Robin Gaspard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leander Gaspard Sr. and Vesta Lafont Gaspard and brother, Donald Gaspard.
The family would like to thank, UT Healthcare of east Texas and St. Joseph Hospice for their care.
