Lawrence J. Bonvillain, Jr., 85, a native of Lockport and resident of Larose passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Tuesday, February 28th from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce G. Bonvillain; son, Lawrence J. (Stefanie) Bonvillain, III; daughters, Maxine Bonvillain Guidry, Sandra B. (Wade) Guidry, Edna B. (Danny) Boudreaux, and Laurie B. (Scott) Naquin; brothers, Jimmy (Doris) Bonvillain, Larry (Earline) Bonvillain, Bruce (Patty) Bonvillain, Wayne (Tammy) Bonvillain, Bernie (Marianne) Bonvillain, and Barry (Nina) Stogner; sister, Geraldine B. (Eugene) Guidroz, Barbara B. (Carol) Melancon, and Sandy B. LeBlanc; grandchildren, Derek (Tiffaney) Boudreaux, Jake (Lindsey) Boudreaux, Ross (Sara) Guidry, Casey (Devin) Guidry, Kali (Blake) Zammit, Peyton Bonvillain, Jonah Bonvillain, Addison Bonvillain, Lawrence Bonvillain, IV, and Lyle (Ashley) Naquin; great-grandchildren, Kale, and Rylun Guidry, Aidyn, Camryn, Amelia, and Audrey Boudreaux, Dalton, Charlotte, and Baby Zammit, Carson Naquin, Emilee, Isaac, and Ciara Nettleton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence, Sr. and Rose G. Bonvillain; step-mother, Beverly “Boo” Bonvillain; brothers, Stephen Bonvillain, and Jerry Bonvillain; brother-in-law, Raymond LeBlanc; sister-in-law, Lorenza Cantrelle Bonvillain.
