Lawles "L.J." J. Allemand Jr., 70, a native and resident of Larose, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012.
Visitation will be from noon to funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Religious services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Allemand; son, James "Jimbo" Allemand and wife, Tara; daughters, Crystal Morgenstren and husband, Glen "Buggs", and Jonnie Allemand and companion Norris Rousse Jr.; brother, Jimmy Allemand; sister, Mary Lynn Martin; grandchildren, Travis Terrebonne and wife, Adda, Ian Terrebonne and wife, Nikki, Allen Allemand, Christopher Allemand and Tricia Morgenstren; and great-grandchild, Ryleigh Terrebonne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawles Allemand Sr. and Rosemary Ledet Allemand.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
