Lavada Marie Houck Washinton, 77, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 8:17 a.m. She was a native and a resident of Raceland, LA.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Lavada is survived by her son, Scott Paul Sanders and wife, Linda; grandson, Drake Michael Sanders; and sister, Stephanie Houck Sutton.

Lavada was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Washington; parents, LeRoy Harold Houck and Ena Mae Breaux Houck; and brother-in-law, Dr. John Sutton.
