Laura Mae Trahan, 90, a native of Leonville, La and resident of Houma, died peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2022 in her home.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at St Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever, LA from 9:00 AM until time of Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She leaves to cherish precious memories her children, Carol Trahan Fanguy, Glenda Trahan Brien (Jerome), Jackie Trahan Billiot, Ronnie Trahan (Karlene), Tommy Trahan (Nancy), Tony Trahan, Kirk Trahan (Deborah), and Laura Lee Trahan Albardo (Adam); 29 Grandchildren, 73 Great-Grandchildren, and 20 Great-Great-Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Mildred Dugas; and Nephew, Harris and Rudelle Bodoin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Douglas Trahan, 1 grandchild, Brandy Runnels; Her Parents, Pierre and Exion Robin, Brother, Edmond Robin (Eileen); Sister, Edna Stoot (Cecil); In-laws, Joseph and Lelia Trahan; Brother-in-Law, Charles Dugas; and 2 Sons-in Law, William Runnels and Steve Billiot.
Laura retired from First National Bank after many years of employment in the Banking Industry. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, fishing, and fun at the casinos. She was also a City Tournament Champion for Bowling.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Falgout Funeral Home of Houma.
