Landie Rousse Kiger

Landie Rousse Kiger, 55, a native and resident of Cut Off, entered into eternal rest at 1:00 PM on

Thursday, March 20, 2025, surrounded by all who loved and adored her.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Landie is survived by her husband of 31 years Keith Kiger; son, Keilan Kiger and wife Meghan,

daughter, Lainie Kiger and companion John Schaefer; brother, Joey Rousse, sister in law, Kelly

Allemand Rousse; and godchildren, Kacey Rousse and Mattie Lasseigne.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Fay Rousse; siblings, Scott and Debbie

Rousse; maternal grandparents, Landon and Marjorie Alario, and paternal grandparents, Webb

and Aza Rousse.

Landie was the true definition of strength and determination. She was a warrior who battled

every obstacle she faced with courage and grace. She lived for her family and those closest to

her. Landie’s giving and compassionate personality left a lasting impression on all those she met

and interacted with.
