Kyle Anthony Melancon, 55, a native and resident of Larose, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
Kyle is survived by his wife of 33 years, Grace Dufrene Melancon; children, Mason (Hanna) Melancon, Chaz (Macie) Melancon, Kaden Melancon, and Colt Melancon; grandchildren, Easton, Stevie, Adelyn, Stetson, and Brenna; mother, Rainell Griffin Melancon; siblings, Lonnie (LeAnne) Melancon and Dawn Melancon; godchildren, Camryn Gisclair, Taylor Melancon Camardelle and Lanie Griffin Victory, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kyle was preceded in death by his father Roy Melancon, his grandparents Sydney and Judith Melancon and Johnny and Marie Louise Griffin, and his in-laws Harris and Margaret Dufrene.
Kyle was a simple, content man, who never asked for much. He began learning body work as a young man and spent the majority of his career working with his dad at Roy’s Body Shop. He later became owner of the body shop carrying on his father’s legacy. Kyle loved music immensely and enjoyed playing his video games. Above all, he had a profound love for his 5 grandchildren who knew him as Pop.
A private graveside service will be held for immediate family.
