Kristy Lynn Matherne

Kristy Lynn Matherne, 44, a native and resident of Gheens, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Raceland Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Andrew Ray Hebert; daughter, Kaylie Jade Curvelo; mother, Cynthia M. Foret; step mother, Darla A. Matherne; brother, Dennis Ray Matherne, Jr.; sister, Destiny Monique Matherne and grandmother, Nona F. Matherne.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Ray Matherne, Sr. and grandparents, Raymond A. Matherne and Maunsell J. Foret and Dorothy G. Foret.
Kristy was a member of Cross Church. She was an employee of Lafourche Parish School Board. She was a volunteer for the Lafourche Parish Recreation Department. She was a loving mother; daughter, sister and friend to all who knew her.
