Korte Michael Cheramie, 28, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on Feb. 25, 2017. Services are currently pending.
Korte is survived by his mother, Jill David Cheramie; fiance', Darla Keys; her family, Kayci and Kaidence Keys; grandparents, Jimmy and Claudette David; uncle, Don David; aunts, Abbigail Autin and Deborah David; cousins Dione David, Donielle Cazayoux and husband Jonathan their son Grayson Tyler, Marc Kimball, Kristy Eymard, and Auggie Autin; and godchild, Allan Cheramie.
He was preceded in death by his father Jody Cheramie, brother Tyler Cheramie, and grandparents Jay and Claudia Cheramie.
Korte was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved being on the water. He was a volunteer and board member of the BT Memorial Foundation. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Korte's name to the Blake Terry (BT) Memorial Foundation at
