Kip Jesse Robichaux, 43 years old, beloved son of Allen and Nelwyn Robichaux, surrounded by his loving family, went to be with Jesus on Monday, November 22, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00am on Friday, November 26, 2021 at St. Bernadette Church in Houma, Louisiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Francis II Cemetery.
Kip was loved by all who knew him and knew no strangers. His favorite pastime was driving his golf cart and taking anyone who was willing for a ride. Kip loved music and dancing, and insisted on dressing in his favorites, LSU shirts and hats. He taught his family more than they could ever teach him. Though he will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved him there is consolation in knowing that his suffering has ended, and he is one of the angels in heaven.
Kip is survived by his brother, Keith and sister-in-law, Laurie Robichaux, his sister, Kim Behrend, nieces, Isabella and Sophia Robichaux, and Elizabeth Green, nephews, Jackson and Harrison Robichaux, and Michael Behrend, uncles Tommy Tanner and Raymond Robichaux, Aunt Sandra (Irvin) Pellegrin, and Aunt Everlee Robichaux.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Nell Jackson and Sidney and Elizabeth Robichaux; uncles, Harold, Earl, Jerry Robichaux and A.J. Detiveaux and aunts, Rita Tanner, Rosa Mae Pisana, Irene Detiveaux and Lee Ida Rodriguez.
The family would especially like to thank Dr. Scott Haydel for his many years of compassion and care along with the other doctors from the Haydel Family Practice who cared for Kip.
