Kenneth "Red" LeRoy Thompson Jr., 40, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 in Bayou Gauche.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Life Fellowship Church in Bayou Gauche. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with interment in Sunset Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Kenneth Thompson Sr. and Deloras Thompson; two siblings, Gabrile Thompson and companion, Leslie, and Lysia Smith and husband, John; and two nephews, one niece, five step-nephews, one great-niece, one step-great-niece, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one nephew, Like Thompson; and grandparents, Landry and Clothilde Hogan, and Helen Weekley.
In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral expenses are preferred.
