Kendal James Dempster

Kendal James Dempster, 72, passed away on August 5, 2021. He was a native of Des Allemands, La. and a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church.
Visitation will be Friday August, 13, 2021 from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery.
Kendal is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Alida Orgeron Dempster, and brother; Alan P. Dempster.
Kandal was preceded in death by his son; Mitchell Christopher Dempster, parents; Mitchel J. Dempster and Clothilde A. Matherne Dempster.
Kendal graduated from Central Lafourche High School in 1967 CLHS’s first graduating class. He was a band member and played the trombone. He also was a graduate with a CPA degree in 1971from Nicholls State University of Thibodaux, La.
He enjoyed family gathering, camping, recreational fishing, playing pool, woodworking, and eating boiled seafood.
