Kelly Jane Hebert Hymel, 50, a native of Houma and a resident of Luling went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on May 24, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Des Allemands Mennonite Church, 17447 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, LA. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Hymel; daughters, Diane Nicole Vegas Lee, Kayla Vegas; four grandchildren; mother, Joyce Martinez Anderson; father, Rene' Hebert; stepmother, Helen Freeman Hebert; sisters, Kim Harrison (Chett), Katherine "Kitty" Sciarrotta; brother, Rene' Hebert III (Jenny); step sisters, Angela Ledet (Allen), Maureen Breaux (Shaun), Margaret Pasqua (Tom); step brothers, Terry Rogers (Christy), Carl Rogers (Michelle); numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Marie Delaune Martinez; paternal grandparents, Rene and Dorothy Babin Hebert; step grandfather, Durward Douglas; aunts, Judy Hebert Dufrene, JoAnn Martinez Brouillete.; uncles, Everette Hebert and John Martinez, Jr.
Kelly was a beautiful person inside and out; usually when you saw her she was laughing and finding the humor in almost every situation. She was the type of person who always put others before herself. She was a caretaker to all who knew her. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and spending time with her girls. She never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off her back. She was loved unconditionally by her family and will be greatly missed.
