Keith Spahr, 72, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, in Raceland, on Tuesday, May 18th from 8:30 am until 10:45 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church, at 11 am, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Keith is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katherine Bergeron Spahr; children, Rachel Spahr (Farrell), Angelle Spahr Kraemer (Ken), Gerard Spahr (Lisa); 8 grandchildren, Tyler Dufrene, Kody Kraemer, Kasey Kraemer, Kylie Kraemer, Alyssa Spahr, Ariel Spahr, Austin Spahr, Allie Spahr; great grandchildren, Alivia Hume, Harper Hume, Aubrey Fuller, Kora Kraemer; father, William “Bill” Spahr Jr.; brothers, Donald Spahr Sr. and William “Billy” Spahr III; sisters, Thelezia Folse, Robin Spahr and Julie Delahoussaye.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Bulick.
Keith was an organist at St. Mary’s Church for 8:00 am Mass periodically from 1970 thru 2014. He loved cooking, gardening and vacationing in Branson, Missouri.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
