Katie "Poodie" Sampey Theriot

Katie “Poodie” Sampey Theriot, age 86, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. She was a native of Gheens and a resident of Raceland, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Hilary of Poitier Catholic Church on Thursday, August 4, 2022 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in church cemetery.
Katie is survived by her sons, Irwin Boudreaux and wife, Molly, and Joey Boudreaux and wife, Arline; daughters, Roxanne Landry and husband, Gerald, and Rebecca “Becky” Donciu and husband, Paul; son-in-law, Kermit Kraemer Jr; daughter-in-law, Kathy Boudreaux; stepson, Sidney “Dooley” Theriot and wife, Tana; stepdaughter, Marion Laverane; sisters, Earline Theriot, Manuella Adams, and Dolly Anderson; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Katie was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Godfrey Theriot; parents, Elvans and Lorita Dufrene Sampey; son, Monty Boudreaux; daughter, Karen Kraemer; grandson, Shane Boudreaux; stepdaughter, Rhonda Viteaux; brothers, Virgil, and Salvin Sampey.
