Kathleen Hebert Smith

Kathleen Ann Hebert Smith, 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. A native of Houma, LA, and a resident of St. Cloud, FL.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, LA, at 11:00 a.m. 

Kathy is survived by her son, Keith A. Smith, his wife, Jessica M. Smith; her grandson, Levi R. Smith; her brothers, Tommy, Wade, and Kevin “Boo-Boo” Hebert; and her sisters, Marlene, Christine, Gail, Amy, Mary, and Zoe Hebert. She joins her husband of 35 years, Kip A. Smith; her parents, Edward and Zoe Dupre Hebert; and her brother, Edward Hebert Jr. in eternal peace. 

Kathy devoted her life to her family, offering unwavering love and care that inspires those who knew her. 

Despite her battle with multiple sclerosis, Kathy’s resilience turned challenges into motivation to support others with the condition, showcasing her enduring courage. 

Those who knew Kathy remember her for her warmth, laughter, and light—a testament to her legacy of love and selflessness that lives on in her family and friends’ hearts.
